I'm such a drinking lightweight these days. I'm completely buzzed on a Hurricane (malt beverage) in a can.

 

Im going to hunt down every elf and reindeer and hold them hostage forever til santa brings me that..

 

I am tellin ya...we had more gutterballs last night than you could shake a stick at...

And truth be told, I was quite distracted by my stepson's gf's little thang wiggling down the lane. And yet: I was victorious. Highest score. Not counting actual home runs. Oh, we were talking about bowling...

I think I need some of that shit...does it require a prescription?

im glad im reading again...i wrapped my tv in plastic wrap and its been in storage for 2 months now...and i don't want to rent movies..and i got about 70 books on shelf and probably 18 them read...so this year every book i own i gotta read....

this most likely will not be possibly lol. but its a good goal this year.

 

I love reading. I have a rule that when at the cottage we have no tv. So we all tend to read more and no one complains about no tv.

 

looking at my book shelf...its amazing...how, and why, when i was such an alcoholic acquire all these books, i have more than ive gave any attention too... lol...their is no way ill even get through half of them this year...

 

Maybe you knew at some level that reading would be a release for you.

There is nothing better than curling up with a good book and just letting it take you away.

Rather replaces drinking.

 

Heather, I like your sig quote. It reminds me of something I read in a book by a Zen master, Philip Kapleau. Part of the compilation in this book was someone's account of an informative presentation led by Kapleau on the subject of Zen. One person asked, "What does Zen say about God?" Kapleau just sat silently until someone else finally asked another question.
