January and my windows are open

Almost 70 here today. Gonna soon take a nice drive to Jess's, smoke, and hopefully take a walk outside. Its lovely.

 

Well, same as puppest really....

 

Got up to 73 here yesterday. It was niiiiiiice

 

it doesnt feel like winter at all..........even though i have a thought in my head that we are going to get a big snow storm in like Feb. like we did last year...which sucked cause i didnt get to spend V-day with my boyfriend......i dont care really if we get a snow storm as long as i get snowed in at my boyfriend's house i dont care.

 

I gotta drive 16 hours to find any kind of decent slopes. It blows donkey balls. I went to this place called "Perfect North" once....it's in Indiana or Ohio I can't remember. Everybody around here was talking about how it's the best resort on this side of the Mississippi and bla bla bla. Well, I get there and all it is......is a little fuckin sled hill in the middle of nowhere. The tallest slope took an average of a minute and a half to reach the bottom. It was all fake snow too.

I gotta plan a trip to Colorado next winter.



Or maybe Toronto

 

Then I guess that side of Mississipi aint hittin it. But neither is Toronto, we just have crappy hills you know. Id like to roadtrip it somewhere.

 

The slopes in Colorado would take an hour or better to get to the bottom

And road trips are the best.

When I was a kid, my dad piled us all into his van one day. We drove from Denver, to Salmon Idaho, to New York City....up into Canada (Niagra Falls), down to Kentucky and back to Denver.

I learned to love being on the road.

 

Well lets do it!

 

What sucks is that I just started this new job and I don't get any vacation time till I'm there for a year.

 

But you can book days off yes? or is that what is considered vacation time? That is so very rough.

 

We get what they call "occations." We can use them how we want them but we only get 3 per 90 days.

They're lucky they're giving me so much money or I'd be gone in a heartbeat.

And I guess it's about time to take a shower and get ready to go make some money.....so I'll see all you cool cats later
