You are right. Its not jazz, not be a mile. He reminds me of some of the crooners like Harry Connick, Tom Jones, et al. Of course, some in this mixed up genre call their music jazz too. That said, Jamie has a nice voice and apparently appeals to the pop crowd, esp young girls. Somewhere in his band I hear a pretty good guitarist.
