The next book I plan to get is Hercules by Joyce. I've never read anything by him before, but I plan to check out some books. I've read some things about it, and I found myself getting very interested.

    Any thoughts?

You should definitely read A portrait of the artist as a young man. It's an awesome book. :)

Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man is one of my favorite books of all time. I also love Dubliners. Those are the only ones I've read though.

Actually I've read the Dubliners and didn't like it at all. I'm now reading Ulysses, it looks nice...

  5. I really liked Portrait.

  6. Portrait... was the only book of his I really enjoyed. I like some of the stories in Dubliners. Ulysses was just too much. I couldn't get into it at all. I'll probably take a stab at it again at some point.
