The next book I plan to get is Hercules by Joyce. I've never read anything by him before, but I plan to check out some books. I've read some things about it, and I found myself getting very interested.

    Any thoughts?

You should definitely read A portrait of the artist as a young man. It's an awesome book. :)

Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man is one of my favorite books of all time. I also love Dubliners. Those are the only ones I've read though.

Actually I've read the Dubliners and didn't like it at all. I'm now reading Ulysses, it looks nice...

Portrait... was the only book of his I really enjoyed. I like some of the stories in Dubliners. Ulysses was just too much. I couldn't get into it at all. I'll probably take a stab at it again at some point.
