My dad put carpet on all four walls and a ceiling in a bedroom.

My ex husband put carpet on the walls in two bathrooms here. I hate it. One we tore out. Tore the sheet rock up bad. The other bathroom is still wall-carpeted.

 

imma take a guess , this was their idea of waterproofing. bathrooms havent been used or remodeled since the steel mill era ..

 

we had carpet on a wall way back in the 80's lol
and also had carpet going up the outside of a tub way back in the 80's ....retro .....lol

in a theater room though dark low pile indoor outdoor carpet is great on the ceiling and walls to absorb the light and sound.....

 

at one time we always had carpet in the bathroom (no padding) kept you warmer...
but now i have cold tile

I have also seen the outside of a vehicle carpeted lol
