hey i haven't been round much in SL i hope you are well rolling and are you recovering well from the fire?

I have never been ID'd for papers before..

 

If they ask for ID simply say you forgot it and peace, no issue there.

But you will probably be less likely to get carded at a mom and pop place rather than a chain that forces all employees to adhere to certain rules.

 

I struck out twice

First i go to this little mom and pop place, and there was an indian girl working there about my age, so i was like "oh she'll sell them for sure" but she asked for ID, so i said i didn't bring my wallet just money, and she kept saying "sorry no" so i stood there kind of nicely arguing with her for a while saying i'm 18 and stuff, but she kept saying no...

So then i leave, and see these two girls across the street, so i go up to them and ask them if they can go get me some papers, but to my surprise they barely spoke english... so i was trying to explain it to them, and after all that they were like "but... we're only 16?" i could have sworn they looked a lot older... damn.

I'll try again tomorrow...

 

what if next time they ask me for ID, i just show my school ID? it doesn't show my age on it, and it just says that i'm in grade 12... so if its an older person that hasn't been to school in a while, i could just be like "i'm in grade 12 which obviously means i'm 18" dunno if that would work, its worth a try though if all else fails...

You can try with the school ID idea, but they might just pass you off as underage if all you have is a school ID with no birthdate on it.

I don't know how it is in BC, but here in Quebec we have Depanneurs (corner stores) on every block essentially where you can buy rolling papers. I would personally just keep trying store after store until they sell them to you somewhere. Headshops also often stock rolling papers and sometimes it is easier to find a headshop that is willing to sell to underage people than it is a regular/corner store.

You're bound to strike gold eventually.

I went to the corner store today to buy lucy's because i didnt have a enough money to buy a pack of smokes and this dude ordered the most nasty hoagie - some people have weird tastes

 

thats it Im moving to philly, they sell lucy in the corner store..

my dad used to like chris deburgh.......its been really foggy here in the morning and overnight...the ferry foghorn scared the shit out of me....sitting there all peaceful and all of sudden.wwwoooommmppppp....prit near bounced my car around its so loud...

We get some pretty crazy fog, live on a bigass hill so we live in the clouds for quite a few days of the year. It's cool, but its pretty annoying cos I like to be able to see

I ordered some gouges and chisels the other day, gonna try my hand at some wood sculpting. They arrived today so I'm off to the woods to find some nice lookin' chunks of wood
