Well that came straight out of my little imagination, but I'd be very surprised if lots of people hadn't said the same thing before me! Sounds quite Twain-esque though, dunnit? You'd think so, wouldn't you? But quite often there's nothing worse than a reformed smoker. They seem to adopt an evangelical zeal. I mostly don't smoke these days, but I try not to evangelise about it (proly helps that I don't feel 100% quit yet........).
I smoke on and off. When I go out I can sometimes smoke like an Auschwitz chimney, but can give it up with a click of the fingers and go months without. I really have no idea what a nicotine craving is like, at least one that doesn't pass extremely quickly. Just lucky I suppose. Good luck Ellie.
Haha...so it's the ex-smokers that stand next to smokers and cough? I've always wanted to do that, just to see how people react to it
smoking doesn't definitely mean you'll die earlier... picasso lived to 90 odd and he smoked... to definitely ward off early death you'd need to live in a waterproof bubble in a sealed bunker...there are so many things to take into account with death that you can't say that all people who don't smoke live to be a hundred...
