    ahahaha how cute!

we had found a bird with a broken wing once.. when we called the SPCA to come and get it.. them BASTARDS told us to KILL it!

so we called around and found another animal rescue center to come and get it.. they were very nice and the lady was even teary-eyed when she came to get the poor little birdy

Awww! I can't believe they told you to kill the poor thing!

You want to hear something kind of crazy? Well to be honest, I don't think it's crazy at all but I had other people call me crazy for doing this. Anyway, about 4 months ago we had a rabbit give birth to a set of twin bunnies in our yard. She made a nest in the ground by a tree and covered it with grass. Well, we started having a ton of rain. I went out and checked on the little rabbits and the poor things were huddled next to one another shivering, soaking wet. I was so worried about those babies that I went outside with a big umbrella and secured it down with some bricks and rope (because it kept blowing away otherwise). It kept them nice and dry. They did well, they got nice and big, and one day I went outside and they were gone. I'm guessing that they had gotten big enough to finally leave the nest.

We get a lot of rabbits in our yard. One day when I was watering my plants, a baby rabbit was hiding behind one of them and darted out, scared me half to death!

Rabbits are so cute. My dad always said they made boring pets, just hopping around and pooping. Except, he didn't call it pooping. ;)

I had one rabbit as a pet, his name was Velvet, short for Velveteen because I loved that story!

My former best friend was/is a recovering drug addict and his rehab center gave him some tadpoles to raise. It might sound cheesy, but it was kind of cute and actually really inspirational to see him get so excited about something other than drugs for once. I helped him build a new setup for them when he came home to visit, and when he finally got out, we moved them all into it.

But then his stupid MOTHER threw the whole thing away. :( Poor little guys. And my poor friend. He went back to rehab.

Not sure about seamonkeys .. but no way too frogs.. seems once you release them they have nobody to defend them.. like me spending time on the streets once i had been brought up cosy and warm.. is this the case with seamonkeys [letting them go free].. just a lovely/charming past time for us humans a barbaric practice for these poor creatures ?? [or do i need a nap ?].

Would they survive the transatlantic travel ?.. If so it seems this is a good way to chat with women... so sure thing :p ..
Seriously i thank you for the thought, but i think it would hold a few 'issues'..i dunno though ?.

Again i was hoping for seahorses :( but i WILL now look into seamonkeys..

    Thanks..

    How long do Sea-Monkeys live?
Thanks to new computer-driven processing technologies and ultra-pure, non-toxic chemicals, twice as many Sea-Monkeys instantly hatch, grow larger and live longer than ever before.

An exact, pre-blended formula of "magic crystals"—and live Sea-Monkey eggs are inside the envelopes supplied in every Sea-Monkey kit. When added to water, live Sea-Monkeys will hatch. That’s why anyone can get perfect results without any knowledge of chemistry or biology. Just by following the easy instructions you create Instant Life®. The only "extra" is the water.
At birth, the Sea-Monkeys are very tiny, no larger than the "period " at the end of this sentence. That is why it’s possible to "overlook" them when they are first born. Since their fate is in yours hands, do not discard the formula if you don’t see them right away. To do so would be like "throwing the baby out with the bath water."

    Are Sea-Monkeys safe?
Sea-Monkeys are in no way harmful to humans or the environment. If they somehow find their way into natural water ways or sewer lines, they simply will not be able to survive outside of the formula.

    :(

i'll leave it for you ladies ... i am sure there is a lesson somewhere along the line ...

If it was for medical research .. sure.

Aside from my 'comical' jokes in this thread...this all sounds a little crazy.

Who needs keys to seamon anyway? O.k. bad joke, I appologize. My ex-roommate had a rabbit, my dogs wanted to play with it, but he would never let them:)
