He was left handed and just took a right-handed guitar and put the strings on backwards. You can notice how his headstock is always pointing up and it looks all funky. Fender makes headstocks like that on purpose now.

 

Im a big big jimi fan.. best songs ever are Voodoo Child, Along the watchtower, and Castles made of Sand. Good to see your likin hendrix man..

 

I don't think I've met anyone who didn't dig Jimi.His music is for the Universe!

 

man I saw on rock docks on VH1 they showed jimi playing at that one concert hall with all the other bands, when they were all getting record deals, he had taken two hits of acid before playing that night. Damn, he was rocking very hard, too.

What's the name of the place they all played at? Big brother and the holding company, jimi, etc.

Jimi was trippin' on Monterey Purple and he still sounded amazing...

 

i wish i had some monterey purple..... if jimi was that amazing on it, i can't imagine what effect it would have on my drumming....that would be fun....
