It's been pouring buckets all day here at my house in PA!! I'm currently drinking a nice screwdriver tho (vodka + orange juice) Today's a nice day to do some great thinking
are you at the place that's close to Hershey? because so am I and it just started raining here within the hour...although when Dan went to work at pm ... 40 mins north of here...closer to Harrisburg he told me it was already raining hard up there...
I don't know why this reminded me of that... but when I was at the grocery store today I saw 3 large suv's lined up together with stickers that said "Zombie Assault Vehicle" and pics of some kind of gun on there.. weird I thought..
My state of Arizona has what is know as the stupid motorest law , if you drive around a road flooded sine and get stuck , they will charge you to get you out . I made a post on it .
I read it. It's a good law, I think. But I can't believe they'd have the nerve to call people stupid. Kinda funny.
People where I live (my county and the county beside it) can't decide if they're hood or southern. Even though they're neither. Haha... but I live in a weird place near Philly, Bmore and D.C. but also... near MD and the south so I see rebel flags but also dealers and stuff from the cities... all kinda mixed together... Its special here. lol.
A few of the people that get stuck have done some thing stupid , most are just using the roads they normaly do . They just dont know that dip in the road is a wash and is running with water . It does not rain hear very often , when we do get a flash flood the drains cant handle it .
Hell yeah there is. I just rode my bike along the ocean, supermoons on the beach are nuts. Only thing that tops it is to add mushrooms to the mix.
:jealous: hahaha for some reason I thought that was an actual smiley but yea, im jealous of that post.
It was a great storm last night, so much rain and lightning. I couldn't sleep though because my room was so bright and now I'm super tired. I'm going to pull a George and nap under my desk.
There are some types of bamboo that can survive mild winters like we have been having these last few years.
i wish it would do that more often here. it has on several unexpected occasions. i just wish we'd have a lot more of them.
Last week we were in the 90F's and the cold front came through so this week we are in the upper 80's. Another big storm due through this afternoon is supposed to take us back down into the 70's. For me the humidity has been too high. We seem to be in some pattern of rain every day. Yesterday the storm dropped 2 inches in an hour. Yikes. Lots of areas of the state have flooding problems.
