Its funny how everyone hates the U.s.a.

well we actually got to realize it was happening which made it cool, it came on the radio and i was like ooo kiss and turned it up, then i realized what we were doing and what song we were playing and it all of a sudden seemed like we were on some awesome mission

 

i agree.. metal is good.. mostly because it fits into a very emotional part of life.. need energy? pissed off? metal makes it better.. but other than that... metal is very straight forward in a technical sense... lets not forget to mention how much easier it is to play an electric guitar compared to anything acoustic

 

many metal bands have the ability to make all kinds of atmosphere, they have those few songs that just make you go "dayum" for how good they are in an atmospheric/emotional way. But the problem is they'd lose their core fans if they didn't have albums of mostly heavy, technical things.

but hey, sometimes you just gots to headbang

Most musicians that are this talented are usually into the classical genre, but not these guys. Although they do mix in a lot of jazz influence into some of their other stuff. With some really weird time signatures and stuff.

This isn't one of those gay "core" bands. These are professionally trained musicians...

Although sometimes I wish Necrophagist would concentrate on their songwriting instead of being technical as fuck.
