I think the original is amazing in its own right. Dylan provides near flawless lyrics, which can be interpreted and construed in countless ways. Part of his genius, really.

Anyhow, we must be of the same brain, as I was thinking of this song earlier today and to see it pop up here provided a feeling of deja vu.

 

FYI, Dylan even said he preferred that version over his own.
