It went through the roof. (I am thinking they cut the tree and put the top half on the roof directly above the bottom half.) From their window it looks like it went right through.

When I was a little girl, the neighborhood we lived in went all out for Christmas.

There was a garden club. Someone won "yard of the month" each month and it was a big deal. People were very competitive.

    At Christmas it was insane.

I was only five years old but I remember. Mom gift wrapped beautiful empty boxes for the scene that dad attached to the roof. It was a Santa in sleigh, complete with 8 reindeer. He attached it so that the sleigh appeared to be tipping over and all the gifts were spilling out of Santa's bag, being strewn across the roof.

    It was so awesome...

I heard it was spring. But regardless it was definitely not Dec. 25. Kind of tough to say since few texts outside Christian ones mention anyone that could be him. He really was not that big of a deal until centuries latter. Until then just a fringe cult.

um no, but they want to opening day to be a Sunday.. Im against Sunday hunting.. however some game can be killed on Sunday. mostly varmints, like groundhogs, and coyotes.. regular Rifle deer season is Monday after thanksgiving. but extended deer seasons last til mid January.. hunters can get extra tags from the county, so you can get more than one deer.

In the same neighborhood when I was little, my 17 year old brother almost got into trouble for stealing a life-size mannequin.

One of the neighbors had a family of mannequins on their front porch. They were dressed in Victorian Era clothes and were posed like they were decorating a Christmas tree on the porch. It was a very classy scene and had already won yard of the month for this huge subdivision.

There was a teenage girl mannequin with long blonde hair.

My brother parked on the side street beside our house.

He went out early one morning, hopped in his car, and almost shit himself because their was someone sitting in the passenger seat of his car!

It was a girl with long blonde hair...

The teenage friends of my brother had stolen the mannequin out of the scene and set her up in my brother's car.

My dad made my brother go and return the mannequin to the owners. The cops were there when he arrived at their house. Dad had to go over and convince them that he had been the victim of a prank and had not stolen the mannequin.

It's so funny being able to remember this stuff from 50 years ago.

    :sad face:^^^

So of course everyone wants to see the puppies but the dog won't let anyone near them so I have to take the dog for a walk so all the family can ooh and ahh over the newborns. Dog was angry being outside. She just wanted to get back in...so then I bring her in and she dosnt want to go to her babies. She just wanted to smell everyone in the house and lay down on the floor.

It's been less than 48 hours and already she just wants to be away from the pups
