bought a van for scrap value..just the battery (that i really needed) was worth what i paid for the whole thing....now its winter so im in no mood to part shit out so i get a friend to help me drive it out to another friends place where i store stuff....and just before we get there the wheel bearing starts throwing out shards of molten steel ....

we forced it the rest of way and made it though...i think the caliper was the only thing holding that wheel on the last few hundred meters

 

it looks like the guy might be right...dead battery is no start at all unless you start it the way they show

I hit a couple gourmet food shops here to fill out a Christmas basket.....bought a bunch of crap that I could never afford....fuck sakes everything I those stores is 8 dollars....little box of fancy shmancy cookies...8 dollars....little package of Mexican hot chocolate....8 dollars.....bag of gourmet candies...8 dollars.....pound of brazillian coffee....which is deliscous btw because I opened that one and stole a spoonful....16 dollars

I was on my feet way too much today.

Merry Christmas Eve everybody...and I happen to quite enjoy the fact this "holiday" was "borrowed" from pagans.

(I think His birthday was closer to Easter, the time of His death.) I won't keep on...but surely I'm able to say a few sentences about this.

I'll be washing clothes all morning. Then I will be raking leaves.

Before raking leaves, I'm seriously thinking Mama and I should go to White Jones (yes, I said White Jones - its the closest place to get what I want) and get a good, solid, HARD to cut long rope. I will then tie one end around my waist and the other end around Mama. THEN, I can keep my eye on her every damn shitting waking moment without her actually being IN my butt (which she wouldn't mind at all. ).

THEN I will be cooking in preparation for tomorrow.

Tomorrow there is a little gift giving (very little) but a lot of cooking and eating. lol

 

We always have everyone get together at 6. But this year it's 2pm. Mom says because it's on a Saturday but there must have been other Saturday Christmas eve's.
17 people in this small one bedroom apartment.
