Its a shod world. What to do? Shoe pollution.

In some places I see dozens of man's worse
form of pollution float by my sailboat.

Shoes shoes shoes everywhere in our ocean.

Forget this talk about plastic in the ocean.
Shoes will be floating in the ocean
5000 years after they were disposed.

Ideas?

A shoe deposit?

People would get them if there was a deposit.

People should just, I dunno...wear 'em?! I was born wearing shoes, and I'll probably die wearing shoes, and in the meantime I'm going to make sure that they don't end up discarded and littering the landscape. I mean: shoes just lying abandoned in ditches or under hedgerows; what's all that about? Anyone who cares about going around in 'a natural state' should care at least equally about not dumping articles of clothing in nature.

 

How do they get on high wires and things? all the time when driving by I see them....shoes, shoes everywhere and just one of them......Do people lose them sticking their foot out the passenger widnow? What is up with that?

 

If you tie a pair of shoes just right, it's like a bolo-sling and you can whip 'em up pretty high.

I see shoes and skelly caps and shit on the street/sidewalk all the time and wonder wtf...I can understand losing a glove or something but ur shoes?

 

maybe they come from those who all of a sudden realize that shoes suck, so they just toss'em.

I mean no offence, but, you were probably born without shoes, and you probably didn't wear shoes until about 1 or 2 years after that.
