yesterday I had a 9 egg collection.....biggest ever.......2 of the chicks started laying now....5 more to go

 

i rarely ever ate the eggs but now i miss them.

 

Got douglas fir, western hemlock, three needle pine, five needle pine, red cedar, madrone, and a few willows in the drain field with an understory of evergreen huckleberry, salal, manzanita,and rhododendron, no oaks. No deciduous trees or shrubs other than the willows so it is green here throughout the winter.

 

I use them in baking quite a bit...French toat...egg salad...pus I have 2 steady customers.........

you know those old hydro poles that have a big garbage can looking thing at the top of them....what is inside those garbage can looking things that are up there?

What is a hydro pole?

 

poles that hold hydro electric cables along roads etc.....

hers the one I am questioning about.....it is no longer hooked up to the grid....hasn't been live for probably 12 to 20 years......the ac cable and the guidline cables are still there reaching across the adjacent and unused property........

I would love to shinny up both poles and disconnect both cables on each.....bring them to the scrap yard....150 foot steel cables gotta weigh a hundred pounds...its 3/4 inch I think....the copper cables gotta be worth a hun as well

those are transformers, pretty much whenever there is a blackout its because they blow up.

 

Concur it's like electrical transformer equipment. Don't know what toxic thing could be there.

 

better be sure that its REALLY off for sure .. or get fried

 

Maybe not enough fat for frying but electrocution is a possibility.

 

its off for sure....hydro guys confirmed it when they were here cutting my tree for me.......they said there is a crew that deals with old equiptment.....I might call them but I wanted that cable first.......its mine.....I have been staring at for 3 years right across the site line of my yard.....they owe it to me

 

Who else can see it? Whoever might not be aware of the power companies indebtedness to you.

 

A couple years ago when I left to go to the store a beautiful coral tree on the corner was a standing mature and in bloom :daisy:

On my return from a short trip to the store the tree looked massacred and was laying in the yard .....

it was a calm day no wind...no rain ...

The trunk must of been weak and split down the middle ...

 

I may of pictures of the tree I'm sure I took some just have to locate them

I'm also sure I told this story too when it happened in these threads somewhere..

My brother is going to help me put things away in my garage.... it was exhausting hot yesterday

 

hey if you can get it then great for you. i am not sure and i think you can google it but i think those things hold electrical charges for long past the time it has electricity going to it... if i were you i would just make sure that, there is no chance that, that is the case.

 

There isnt any copper in that wire rolling. its a bundle of aluminum wires. very little copper , more copper on your service wire on the house than there is on the overhead.
