I will probably go see it. I love this time of year when it gets close to Halloween and new horror movies come out. :)

I'll probably see it when it comes out on dvd or cable. That way i can watch it alone at night without distractions.

Not a chance, I hate that feeling when you just know your going to jump, with your belly way too much! I'm a weekling when it comes to horror.

Just saw it at the London IMAX (biggest screen in the UK). It was legitimately awesome, I'd reccomend it to any horror fan, or any fan of 80's horror/adventure films. It has overtones of Poltergeist, Nightmare on Elm Street and The Goonies in it.

I guess I'll eventually have to see it, just to see if the new actor for Pennywise can top the great Tim Curry.

I won't see it. Thought the original was terrible.

    A clown?

Not original enough to obtain my interest.

I live about a ½ hour drive from Salem and they do put on quite a show for Halloween,

I addition to the witch trials and museum, I recommend you check out the House of the Seven Gables made famous by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
The house also inspired several short stories by H. P. Lovecraft

I read the book, and it was excellent.

I think seeing the new movie will just tarnish my memories.

Oh, and I don't like horror movies.

I think the new movie was a lot more book-driven than the old one. There are actually two movies, this one focused on them as kids, the next one will be when they are adults.
