it seems this new website has brung in alot more posers then before...

hahaha really ive been on here for a while ( Thi_Experience ) from before the change and it kinda makes me wonder where all these ppl came from.. hmm..i dunno but it has a changed alot but hopefully it will stay in the same great values the old forums had. i hope so.

 

yeah it seems like the new forum has brought a lot of new people. and hopefully these new people wont destroy what we have created

If you knew me well enough you'd know I have nothing to do with labels and my philosophies on social movements and the human condition has nothing to do with the clothes you wear. Don't be too quick to judge people. I don't appreciate posers either, but what I would encourage is young people taking a step out of their box in search of new ways of living and new ways of relating to the world. I've spent time in a commune, I've marched with two million against the war, and I've been amongst the festival crowds; I've seen that another world is possible, and I hope to encourage others to share it. Labels do not come into it, and neither do cyber hugs!

How can you tell if someone is a "poser" just by a few comments they make online, without really seeing them or their beliefs and convictions in action? I haven't seen any of those threads that you're describing yet, but while it may be annoying, is it really that big of deal? Just create more threads and conversation that you find meaningful to keep at the top, and don't worry so much about it.

 

im new to these forums, but i wouldnt say im a "poser" so to speak. i mean, i never call myself a hippy, but i have been called a hippy, and i love these forums. im just all about lettin people do thier own thing.
