    Why you say that?
What is going on there isn't at all related to the usual Arab-Israeli conflict crap, but more about a government that has ignored it's citizens.
They are protesting the same issues that many countries are dealing with.

We are only going to be seeing more of the same in more diverse areas.
This is an issue that transcends political, religious and cultural differences.

There is a political, religious or cultural agenda for EVERYTHING.

    That includes human rights.

Today's newspaper reports that more than 1700 protesters were arrested.

The prime minister Erdogan has been in the position since 2002.

It's disturbing, the direction turkey has gone. They where doin' pretty good.

This is their backlash. They are deeply muslim, but a strange secular muslim.... for instance, they use a translated koran (forbidden by islam) in a written language that was created specifically to forge a national identity and hold them together. And now there's a strange fundie muslim leader who likes, I think, big business, and they're gettin' pissed.

I think he might destabilize the country badly....
