I see you are not better than that. Sad, really. Oh well.
    Have a good day.

I hoped you were reasonable and did not tap away at you keyboard like a deranged nutter. If you seriously believe I have actually been groomed by the GOP or I am in anyway an apologist for Israel - by what I have said - then you need to ask me more questions, as you are very wrong.
Children say the things like you have said about me, not grown men, for crying out load.

Sadly we are not all pacifists, or anti-war activists.

Yes, the brotherhood of man is in decline. What a tragedy.
Ok, I mock. Sorry. Care to elaborate on what you mean?

How do you expect to have the result of peace through war?

To a degree, I agree...but our foul behaviour, in the past, did create peace...the price was high though.

For the most part, yes. We don't have a global war...do we?

There were always the small wars that we see now, that sadly has not altered.
But, relatively speaking, yes, the world is peaceful.

If we would have had the type of reporting we have about Iraq, now, then...then we would have thought the world was being invaded by aliens. Every death is newsworthy, it seems.
Imagine reports of thousands of people dying on a daily basis...we would not have time to report anything else.
And we, it seems, have the right to pour scorn on Israels behaviour...odd...or hypocrisy, you decide.
Even though a few generations ago we bombed the hell out of Germany (Dresden) because we could.
We also tortured people for shits and jollies. How they forget.

Killing people is wrong, no matter what, and as I said, to similar effect, in another post...

Two wrongs dont make a right.

I deplore what the US has done in Iraq and Aghanistan, and it hurts me to think about the loss of life.

As they say, war is hell.

War is Hell - Killing people is wrong - Two wrongs don't make a right

    That's great logic. I agree.
Not the real world though, is it?

I have no idea what you find deplorable in what the US has done. Do tell.

Mostly the whole thing with killing over six hundred thousand Iraqis, most of them civilians, which is similar to what Israel has done in its war on Gaza, though on a smaller scale.

I dont see any justification in taking more than 100 palestinian lives for every one Israeli.

    Right, oh.
I don't quite believe we killed that many.
But, anyway, you seem to suggest those deaths were on purpose?

The irony is, Iraqis are fighting along side "us" and have a hand in killing there people too. Albeit for the greater purpose of peace and security.

    Neither do I.
I didn't quite see the point of killing all those people in Dresden, either.
    That's what happened though, sadly.

Far better persons can justify war better than I can - so I won't bother.

The true number of civilians killed in any war are unknow because the governments don't release (or track) these numbers because it is against their best interests to do so. Many sources for all wars are widely varied because basically they are only estimating.

It perhaps is very crass of me but does it matter how many people have been killed?
