About the hostages, there is a main possibility that hostages are safe to change them with the Palestinian prisons which are estimated to be more than 5,000 in Israeli jails for several years. So, Hamass tries to protect them as much as they can. At the present time, there is no safe place in Gaza to keep them safe, so they have to keep them in several places to protect them from daily bombardment and to prevent them from Israel's ground attack to free them.
Hamas has dug more than hundreds of kilometers of tunnels in Gaze, which could be the safest place to keep the hostage in there. It is thought that Hamas had a planned scenario to get hostages as many as they could to change them later with the Palestinian prisons, so they managed good and safe facilities to settle them. We should cross our fingers hopefully the Israeli side take the right way to free them just by negotiation, any stupid action like releasing them by a military attack, could have tragic consequences.

I, also, would much rather see the hostage freed by way of negotiations (is such a thing even possible,or is too absurd to hope for?) than via a "storming raid".

Most certainly, I do indeed want to see these hostages freed so that they can go back to their families and loved ones, but, the freeing of the hostages would be better off played out via negotiations (but, then again, how do you "negotiate" with cutthroats?)

With ground troops massing at the border, I see a full-scale "ground war" about to take place.

BUT.......WHERE to LOOK for the hostages?

HOW, then, is it possible to FIND and FREE them, without still further aggravating an already tense and life-threatening situation?

I fear a ground attack will further escalate the already flaming tensions; the air and missile attacks have already inflicted so much damage on both sides, the urban landscape now hauntingly recalling the chilling images of Hiroshima, that it will take decades to even start to rebuild, after the current war ends.

Can we hope for a cease-fire?

Can we hope for sanity to prevail?

Right now, our greatest wish, hope, and prayer is that the hostages are finally set free.............

how does Israel negotiate with this?
The Avalon Project : Hamas Covenant 1988
Moreover, if the links have been distant from each other and if obstacles, placed by those who are the lackeys of Zionism in the way of the fighters obstructed the continuation of the struggle, the Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to the realisation of Allah's promise, no matter how long that should take. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:

"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).

answer you dont, Fuck the pro Palestinians pro hamas bullshit

Hamas didn't simply drop out of the sky. Like all things, it arose in response to causes and conditions, and continues to exist because of similar causes and conditions; Hamas gives voice to a powerless, persecuted, and oppressed people. You needn't negotiate with Hammas. Mitigate the racism, oppression, and apartheid which gives rise to such hopelessness, grief, despair, and nihilistic rage, and Hamas will fade away on it's own accord.

As does the IDF, which exists to kill Muslims, they kill random civilians they give rise to grief and death.
After 86 years of tit-for-tat massacres, wouldn't it be grand if someone challenged the dominant paradigm?
    'Round and 'round and 'round she goes;
    Where she stops, nobody knows.

    BULLSHIT

What is the IDF code of conduct?

Soldiers of the IDF shall act according to the values of the IDF and its commands, while abiding to the law, upholding human dignity, and respecting the values of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.

compare that to the above charter of hamas

You're adorable! Under different circumstances, that'd be hilarious if it wasn't so damned sad.

"The UN Fact-Finding Mission led by Justice Richard Goldstone on Tuesday released its long-awaited report on the Gaza conflict, in which it concluded there is evidence indicating serious violations of international human rights and humanitarian law were committed by Israel during the Gaza conflict, and that Israel committed actions amounting to war crimes, and possibly crimes against humanity."

In talking of Hamas (and terrorism in general), I feel it is most important to at least mention the ever-present threat of "sleeper cells".

These "cells" can be anywhere, often lying in wait in some location few would associate with a terrorist faction.

These can be located in remote towns or big cities; literally, anywhere.

One can only hope and pray that "sympathizers"/"copycats"do not not start springing into action during this highly-volatile time.

I've heard that pellet gun shots were fired last night at a New York synagogue.

    Thankfully, no injuries.

I have also heard of people being assaulted on the street.

Too, think of the "lone wolves", who will stop at nothing to cause widespread death and destruction "for a cause"..

The very subject of terrorism.....on all levels.....is indeed a complex and sobering one..........

Who’s to blame for the Hamas attack on Israel? That debate is already going off the rails. | Column

It is fine to criticize various Israeli policies. But this prison break talking point is deeply problematic. If Gaza is a prison, it’s in part because it is run by a prison gang in the form of Hamas, which brutalizes and exploits Palestinian inmates. Also, if the moment inmates escape from a prison they go on a murder, kidnapping and rape spree, many reasonable people might assume the prison exists for good reason. But again, however brutal you might think Israel’s Gaza policy might be, the murderers still chose to murder, the rapists chose to rape. If you deny them that agency, you’re the one calling them unthinking animals.
