Ive found on here that if someone types something that I find upsetting or offensive, I like to give them the benfit of the doubt once.
what I mean by this is that I'll respond once, ethier on the thread or in pm and say (and i'll try and be really nonconfrontational about it) I found it upsetting when you said x.
that person responds in one of 3 ways.
ethier they will apologise, ignore me, or tell me to F off.
more often than not, people say that they did not realise they caused offensive and will apologise and I have found that I have built up a mutual respect, if not eventual friendship with many people on here after this.
if I get told to F off, I will not be baited by people on here anymore, I can't be bothered, so I just slam them on ignore and be done with it
