delaware river, but my ancestor didnt live right on it. where orison lives is close enough for me to be jealous. im a lot farther away.

my ancestors house has a historical marker, but apparently its still owned by relatives, no one i know. my branch of the family moved west. my father actually bought the old farmhouse in nebraska. has to do some fix-it stuff, but i will actually get to see him in the summers when he comes out with s-mom. im looking forward to it. maybe walk down by the creek and offer him a bowl, lol.

people laugh at me because i am so full of hustle when crossing tracks. when i lived in NY the kid next door was running next to the train and slipped, bounced off the side (lucky he didnt fall under the wheels) but was left with brain damage. after that they showed us, what i can only describe as a terror film about trains and safety. the imagery in it still haunts me. i love trains, i think they are fascinating, but i do not fuck around around trains. ever.

i have so much craft stuff. i think i might have a problem. its not a money/ spending problem, its a space/ use problem. times like this im so glad i dont buy fabric most of the time.

edit to add: is that "road under construction" the construction thats fucking up your access? if its as obnoxious as you have described, im not surprised someone was taking the tracks.

yes that construction is crazy.. I suppose a biker could use the tracks both ways but it wouldnt be easy to get on somewhere else. might be, but it would be a long bumpy ride. I see the updated the news, was killed.

I saw a woman driving she sat on the tracks till i passed her. I saw her stopped there when i was over 2 blocks away.
its a slow train but i am getting off tracks the first chance i get.

me too. hubby is left-handed though. i like it, because its so much more comfortable to hold hands that way. we can walk together and neither of us is weaker or more vulnerable than the other. i might be overthinking it, but i notice it all the time. the boy is right handed, but we practice throwing the football to each other left handed.

morgan freeman is left handed, but he hurt his shoulder in that car accident, and now he cant move his fingers, and he has to wear a compression glove.

Out for the day... If I can walk properly. Too much manual labor with this kitchen and bath remodel.

Still no water in that part of the house.

i still have no hot water in the 2nd bath. I should fix that. and Id be embarassed to post pictures of the kitchen .. havent even touched it.. was contemplating how to angle the construction bag bin outside for pickup. Cause its inside the yard. Ill have to manipulate it out the gate some how. Im kinda confident it will shift and squeeze thru. only plaster and vinyl tile. you know these people had vinyl tile on the walls.. i guess I understand the concept of putting it there. maybe they wanted something thicker than wallpaper and cheaper than panel board. the layers of paint over it i dont under stand.. 100yr old house I can just imagine these people painting these walls every year, coat after coat.. Its shatters like windshield glass.
