SO THEN CAT, YOU AGREE WITH THE KORAN, AND YOU HAVE NO JEWISH OR CHRISTIAN FRIENDS. BECAUSE THE KORAN TELLS US THAT YOU ARE NOT TO HAVE FRIENDSHIP WITH INFIDELS. AND ACCORDING TO THE KORAN THAT WOULD BE ALL CHRISTIANS AND JEWS.
campbell34 Are you sober? be brave and open that link, To know which Christians and Jews, which infidels, see I gave you a brief answer yet you didn't understand, that's why I write detailed answers in my replys to you.Peace and loveYours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note:Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style losers' fate , ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
Yeah your right I proabably just read a lousy biography of his life, do you know of any good ones? And I definetly see your point that Muslim countries are fighting terrorsits, it just dosn't get any news coverage. And what do you think about the second part of the post? That was the real meat of it, you know what I wanted to see what you thought. Here is is again "Also I read in another thread you defending putting apostates of Islam to death. If a muslim friend of yours publicy came out against Islam and refused to come back to it, would you kill him? I also didn't think your computer referance was very valid at all, I mean God seeing people as tools or things that he has no emotional attachment to, like I do to a computer, is a COMPLEATLY differnt view than that of Christianity, like a compleate 180" I can't wait to see what you think about that
Turn wasn't a biography of his life, of someone else. Yup,^^Prophet Muhammad (1) (2) (3) Yup, according to Islam we should do so, we should stop them. This is off topic, But Ok, I can't do anything as long as there is no fatwa. ordinary Muslims are Not allowed to judge and apply the punishment, this is mess, and by the way, for more about it, here is a Good link Apostasy I think You lost me Peace and loveYours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note:Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style losers' fate , ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
What is a fatwa? Is it when you sit down and talk to the apostate and try to clear up any confusion they have about Islam? But in this toatally hypothetical, if your best Muslim friend publically left Islam and refused to return to it, even after a fatwa, would you kill him or support him being killed? Just a hypothetical, only to see what your thoughts are on this
Turn A legal verdict & opinion concerning Islamic Law given on a religious basis by a Muslim scholar, The sources on which a fatwa is based are the Holy Qur'an, and the Sunnah (Haddeeth) of the Prophet (pbuh) No, this is ''Istitaba'' I will do whatever Allah orders me to do. He was a Muslim that means he knows what's the punishment is gonna be, he shouldn't tell me so, because he knows I'm a devout Muslim,And of course there are particular people to apply the punishemt. for any more other irrelevant questions you can PM or post them in new thread. You are more than welcome ^^Peace and loveYours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note:Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style losers' fate , ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
Sorry Cat, but your answers do not agree with the Koran. And if they did, you would not be saying what you are saying here. The true believes of the Koran are the one's blowing themselves up for what they believe in, even if they are wrong, they are still closer to the truth of the Koran than you are. You are trying to put a western spin on the Moslem faith, to make it more acceptable to the West. Yet anyone reading the Koran will soon see, your spin, does not match the reality or the history of your belief.
Cat, have you ever noticed that I usually never tell people to go to a link. The reason for this is I can speak for myself. I don't have to tell people to go to a link so they will understand what I believe. If you have to tell people to go to a link, then I have a feeling you can not speak for yourself, and that only tells me you don't know what you believe in, and can't explain why you believe in something without sending someone to a link. This is not the kind of faith I would put my trust in for everlasting life.
campbell34 It is written by me, why should I repeat it if I already answered it! And stop taking off the topic.Peace and loveYours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note:Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style losers' fate , ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!

Wow thats nuts, I mean don't you think that flies in the face of reason? If your religon is telling you to kill people who leave Islam, dosn't that raise any flags? Isn't Islam supposed to be a continuation of Christianity, then why does it compleatly oppose what Christians belive. I mean, wow, just wow
he's completely wrong and illogical, turn. see this thread: http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161991
the way its been corrupted is scary. the fundamental principal is that the Quran comes first, and hadith come third in interpretating our religion. hadith are only supposed to be used to explain certain verses, but they can never contradict the Quran. cat's argument that the quranic passages were revealed for only certain time periods is nonsense. Quranic injunctions are supposed to be absolutely universal. i have no problem when cat explains the verses some people try to use to justify terrorism, those are clearly supposed to be injunctions for when people are attacked and have been morphed into a rationale for terrorism. but at its core, the message to defend oneself when attacked, and never overstep your bounds is universal. thats not a message for a certain time or place. and neither is the Quranic command: "There is no compulsion in religion". It continuously says that you must come to a rational conclusion, that everything within the quran is based on reason. so its absolutely silly of Cat to say I have to follow this, because "God told me so". NO. God didnt say that, someone "Scholar" hundreds of years later did. and its esp. disconcerting, in a thread on ISLAMIC TERRORISM! just ridiculous.
If I did not understand your point the first time, it's doubtful I would understand it a second or third time.
where did this question come from?? and Cat did at least explain the verses in the very beginning of this thread.
