I’ll have you know that “stupid list” was met with high praise on the old Tru-TV message boards [IMG]

Yes the same Tru-TV which has brought you ….Container Wars, Hardcore Pawn, Impractical Jokers, Disorder in the Court, South Beach Tow, Swamp Hunters, Lizard Lick Towing, and Southern Fried Stings

And speaking of stupid, spell-check is in order

Sounds something like, the spirit compels you, a line from one of the exorcist movies, kidding. I like some of the things you say as well but I always apprehend you with a whole heart. I'm actually not fond of any defensive maneuvers whatsoever and find in them latent if not overt brutality. Defense of moral rightness is just such a plague. Recognition of life's moral certitude would relieve one of that. Life's abiding moral sense is self interest.

You are most definitely that rarest of phenomena, a person with their own unique take on things. As I've said before, I can't claim that I always understand your posts, but they are certainly far from being the 'expected thing'.

I'd have to disagree for instance with the terms you use in this post. I don't think life as such has any 'moral sense'. However, humans have life (prana) and also mind (manas). The whole notion of morality comes only because we have this mental consciousness. A cat has feelings, powerful feelings, but no moral sense whatsoever.

But at another level it's all just a matter of semantics. I'm not at all sure we speak the same language.

I am not rare, I have had mind training just like everyone else. i just learned a different lesson.
So i speak of moral sense as the sense to protect and extend the idea of rightness or the integrity of self. I've noticed that some animals do display a measure of analytic skill and it seems more proportionate to me than some of the abstractions we take on ourselves. Our mind sensation nexus is very adept at distinguishing one thing from another and determining what a thing is for. It is lousy at guessing obscure motives or what might be in the heart of man using your own nervous reaction to stimulus as a guide.
