    I agree it was trump

  8. Clearly it was Obama under the guidance of the secretary of state, Hillary Clinton. It was a long-running operation and has now reached its logical conclusion. Trump can claim credit, sure, but a careful audit will show when this raid was actually planned. Trump's just cashing in on Obama's amazing foresight.

I don't see any "amazing foresight" here. This was a routine operation- as routine as anything the special forces do. This was very much in the same vein as taking out Bin Ladin: Bush '43 started that program that resulted in Bin Ladin's assassination. I suppose you can credit Obama for seeing the program through and allowing other targeted assassinations, but it certainly was not groundbreaking.

Well... It's an accomplishment. But I certainly hate hearing Trump talk! He's not even good at talking about this. He deserves some credit, but he's over-congratulatory about it. Kudos to the joint effort to eliminate ISIS.

    And fuck those guys. :sunglasses:

Yep- did it all himself. That operation was well in the works before he took office.

Maybe. There are new Al-Qaeda leaders since bin Laden. Who are they? Destroying the ISIS Caliphate and killing the Caliph should clip their wings a bit. Meanwhile, let's celebrate!
