Is Yoga Sinful?

Another Christian here. Go for it. It's all about using another mode of thinking, which can be interpreted as spiritual by some, especially if they're insecure about their own faith. There's no worship involved with yoga.

The US NIH has recognized Hatha Yoga as having proven medical benefits for various conditions, including stress reduction. And, basically, everyone in the health field knows the enormous benefit of stretching exercises. There are virtually no medical experts who do not believe stretching is enormously helpful.

Hinduism IS NOT polytheistic. Hindus believe in one Supreme Being. Mahatma Gandhi himself wrote to this point. The "gods" of Hinduism refer to angels and Archangels or to various descriptions of the one God.

In the Bible, Christ was accused of healing people by being an agent of the Devil. He dismissed their empty rhetoric by saying, if I heal, I work against the Devil, so how then do I work for the Devil?

Healing is a divine art. Hatha Yoga is a healing art. It cannot come from the Devil.
