Is WattsApp any good?

I don't use either. I've never had facebook. I have an old flip top phone which I keep turned off most of each month. I still like to use the CB radio.

My brother believes in texting many people due to his work.
However his bills are like $400 a month.
He also has unlimited texts and phone calls.

i use viber for texting and videos as it is free

 

Unlimited doesn't mean free.
It just means if you use your phone's features it will be more than what you think it is.

That's why it's better to use an app.

 

Pre paid is crap mate.

Plans are a lot better.

Pre-paid is more expensive in the longterm. Especially if you use your phone a lot.

 

100mb of data a day? Lol.
That'll load the thumbnails for porn usage, I'll watch the first 45 seconds tomorrow I suppose.

Telstra changed their plans a year or so ago

Prepaid, they advertise 35Gb for $40, but then give you the same amount again in the "databank" that rolls over every month, but they don't advertise that.

So it ends up working out cheaper than postpaid. It's weird

 

I am on a 100 gig plan with Virgin for which I pay £20 a month..
Any data I don’t use is carried over to the next month, so some months I have 150 gig on the go.
In that I have 5,000 minutes and unlimited texts.
I use Netflix and Amazon Prime and Sky and use my phone and iPads a lot.
On my IPhone 11 I use that to create a Hot Spot for my other stuff, which works fine.
On this coming Monday we are off to Madeira for two weeks so my data will take a hammering!
I will be taking my two 12.9 Pro IPads with me to watch films and football and get on here of course!

 

And send me photos and vids MR!
Whatsapp will be fine for you.

We will be out and about a lot of course during the day, and then evening catching entertainment and dancing and boogying on down!
We had 5 weeks in Madeira last year, so we know the crack!

But say when we get back to the hotel before evening meal there will always be time to check on stuff.
Also check on BBC news and stuff.
Plus of course I will post the odd pic from me IPhone 11 from Madeira in Candy's thread, because I can be a poor sad Mother Plucker sometimes Asm.
