And, if so, what are they? Don't get me wrong, I love piercings (mostly on the face, in preference) but I just feel like everything is so common now. Like, I remember the first time I saw a corset piercing, I thought it was so beautiful, but now I know 4 girls with them. And I used to love Dahlia piercings and wanted to get some myself, but my local piercer has done 4 this month, and it's only the 14th, haha I may be done with piercings at the moment anyway, but I just want to know what your idea of an uncommon piercing is, or rare or unique. Just because I feel like I've seen nearly everything these days
Probably not unique anymore as I imagine most things have been tried at least once, but there are a few really cool piercings that you don't see often. I got a rhino piercing a few weeks ago: It goes from inside my left nostril out through the tip of my nose. My piercer had never done one before and doesn't know of anyone else in my area with one. Unique enough for me! Other option is unusual jewellery choices, I used to wear a 1.2mm spiral in my nostril piercing which was much more eye catching than usual stud/hoop options, and I've got a long claw thingy for my lip piercing I wear sometimes. That said, nothing wrong with the classics, most of them are popular for good reason. It's definitely possible to worry too much about looking different.
I just don't understand piercings, especially the septum thing. Just looks so...bad. Some piercing can be cute but...ugh.
I think there aren't many uncommon piercings anymore. But you can create uncommon combos . The rhino piercing is definitely uncommon though. I didn't even know it existed until now. It looks interesting
