Is there anyone left in 2022 that is still NOT doing this

    There were. Here in the US in Iowa is a group of communities called the Amana Colonies. They formed several communities connected together and only traded within themselves less than a century ago. Agriculture was the need and they did grow and process their own food. A lot has been learned and has come out of the colonies. Trouble with the closed community there is no economic growth. The colonies realized this and began trade outside the communities. The best example of their success is the Amana Radar Range microwave oven.

    Been through some of them (at least the spaces they occupied), but I was also considering things along the lines of CSA's to an extent as a modern take on it.
