It really makes no difference what information you use, it's all the fuckin' same, with SOOO many fuckin' people in the world how likely would it be to pick out just one?

    ;)

if it's a specific post that's in question, there's always this button: [IMG]

law of averages says 20 'yes's out of 300 ppl .. this is the figure from a MLM scheme i worked in but im sure the numbers are at least as good for spam dating ;)

Actually, online dating is still too much like dating for me to bother.

ppl used to have party lines during WWII. copper was scarce (copper rationing) so they would connect multiple customers in each local loop so it was basically the telephone equivalent to a chatroom :)

theres still plenty of telephone services out there .. some very sketchy ones 2 900 #s and shit. u can still dial a party line.

this is 2014 the world has never been so wide open as it is now. there is no bound to communication.

I recently updated my OKC profile, and I find the number of desirable women on this site to be lacking. It seems that beyond the age of 25, there is a huge decline in women I find attractive enough to date. I know this sounds arrogant and perhaps even sexist to say, but it's much easier for a woman in her 30s to find a decent looking guy than it is for a man in his 30s to find a decent looking woman of around the same age. Women just do not age well, especially once they have children. There is just a preponderance of unattractive women with pus guts, and it depresses me. The few attractive women are out of my league, meaning they have numerous degrees under their belt and probably make more money than I do.

Money is never an issue for guys when it comes to women. I would gladly take a woman who is broke if she's attractive and in good physical shape. For men, you not only need to be attractive but have money and... be something.

    Life just isn't fair.

I am going to rename OKC. From now on I will call it AKC, for American Kennel Club.

    Hello,

hmm, I beg to differ. Money or status is a big issue for men. I know two or three women, who are nice and are good looking (in my opinion), but if it comes to relationships they have no luck. They all tell the same story. At first all is great and they really hit it of with a guy. Then the guy realise something all of this women have in common: they have an steady income above average, they have prestigious houses and cars and so on. And then the guy, who is a craftsman or even an engineer with a decent income, seems to have inferiority complexes or something like that and backed away.

    Regards
    Gyro

OK, but it's rarely an issue with men if a woman doesn't make a lot of money, granted she is attractive.

    Hello,

    jepp, I think so.

Sometimes if I'm really bored I study the personals in the local papers. There are always guys who are looking for women, who struggle in life, who are pregnant with no partner and no money, who are prostitutes and want 'some help' to start a new life. I think that's... strange. I have no trouble to pay in restaurants or pay other things for my partner. But explicitly looking for someone how is 'below' me is strange. I guess it tells something about the guys who place the personals.

    Regards
    Gyro

In general but not always. To accept this as the inevitable truth is to fulfill it yourself. But I always laugh about leagues anyway, I can't picture why a woman with degrees and a (betterpaying) job has got to be out of my league. If you would gladly get involved with a woman who is broke but is attractive in many aspects why does it seem a league issue when that role is reversed? We're in the 21st century. If you have a lot of things to offer but no fancy job or degree the only women that perhaps seem lost to you are the traditional conservative ones that are eager to start a traditional family (and not even all of those by default).

Have you actually tried to contact these women, or are you just assuming that they will not be interested?

I spent the entire Memorial Day weekend with the woman I met on OKCupid and it was hot hot hot. I have stopped dating other women. She's the one.

    I tried it once.
After the initial infatuation faded we parted ways rather quickly.
