The funny thing is.. many have said to occam he acts more like a
christian than most christians they know.
That he is a good man

But occam is not a christian. He believes christ a great man, but no more than a man.

His sister, a baptist/evangelist says occam WILL go to hell even if he is a 'good man'.. Beause he does not admit that the christian god is the font of human existance and morality.
Occam will go to hell for violation of patent laws. That is, the christian gods patent on 'good' ..Occam was good from another source.. thus he burns forever in the fantasy called hell.

And thats another thing...If u truley believe hell exists...
then u might wish to avoid speaking with occam again.
The concept of hell is so absurd it makes this one LAUGH
that any rational being could even considerer it.

An obvious example is the one just said...
A 'good man' is tortured forever.
to WHAT PURPOSE

there are a thousand more such examples.
If two consenting males/females partake in private sexual acts, they are tortured forever
If one takes the life they OWN, their own life, They are tortured forever.
If one has sex with a person who is married, Both are tortured forever
If one has too much pride,, they are tortured forever.
If one is gluttenous, they are tortured forever.

IF ONE QUESTIONS THE RULES OF GOD>>THEY ARE TORTURED FOREVER.

You must understand that everyone is destined for hell. And although you may be a great person, if you just commit one evil act you are destined for hell (Like have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever lusted after a woman? ect.). Yet all God asks is for you to simply believe that he is God and he grants you eternal life.

Most people choose not to believe Jesus is God and thus yes are destined for for hell. But overall God doesn't send people to hell, people send themselves to hell-it is their choice.

It is God's desire for LOVE that he has given people the choice to choose heaven or hell and it is God's LOVE that he sent Jesus to make entering heaven an easy task.

And by the way, you should always question authority... including the Bible... as a Christian I have question the Bible (the foundation of my faith) but by questioning it has only made my faith stronger and helped me understand why I believe what I believe.

And does not believe jesus would have either.
You dont force rational people to believe something by threatening
them with eternal torment...the concept of hell is a pavlovian 'stick'

And the christian god has done a very poor job of getting
'the message of choice' to humanity.

The message of choice must have gotten out because Christianity is plastered all over the world and still people reject to accept the way of Christ. And for those who have never heard, God finds ways to reveal Himself to those who are truly seeking the true God.

I am not threatening anyone with hell. I am just relaying the message that is printed in the Bible. Yes, hell is a terrible place and I would hate for anyone to go there but the facts are most people CHOOSE not to follow and believe in Christ nor do they believe that there is even a hell. Therefore, sometimes it is appropriate to talk about hell--Jesus thought so.

It is almost like me trying to warn someone that is unaware they are sleeping in a burning house without using the word fire.

the message. Mostly in india and china.

Yes the facts are that most people choose not to follow the christian religion.
But most find christ a wise man and and DO wish to folllow HIM.

and where did you come up with that silliness about his so called name, if it even was his actual name at all. and if it was, well jesus is the romanization of the name of the egyptian god osyrus, so like jesus, pronounced hay suis, is not uncommon in latin cultures today, it may have been just as common then. so if i ever 'need a demon cast out' i guess i'll just have to look up some mexican guy named hay suis.

Second of all, I have had encounters with demons first hand and my father was actually oppressed by them. I know that they are real. It is not a act of mind but you can come up with whatever excuse you like.

crazy as this sounds, in one sense you're not all that far off. only i don't think the nazarine carpenter himself, who was simply a charismatic leader a lot of people had some really absurd hopes and expectations of, who managed somehow to get himself wrongfully executed by a paranoid governemnt, had all that much to do with it. saul of tarsus, later known as 'saint' paul, did.

only two things are really certain about our future on this planet as a species.

one is that a day will come when there are no longer any such thing as gas stations, and with their demise, quite possibly that of the private passinger automobile, at least as we know it today, and with that everything about our way of life that is built arround it and arround everything else that comes from petrolium and petrolium products.

exactly when that day will come is anybody's guess. as old as i am now it might not come withing my own life time, but it will almost certainly come within less then a hundred years and thus quite probably withing the lifetime of many if not a majority of those now living.

signiffigant long term chainges in weather PATTERNS, collectively refered to as "global warming" are real, and occuring largely as a resault of the use of combustion to generate energy and propell transportation.

the other thing that seems pretty obvious and more or less forgone, is that overpopulation will likely continue to increase untill something drastic and unexpected takes place to reverse it's trend.

this population IMplosion, when it occurs, will likely be seen by those looking to call something in such terms, 'the end of (human) life as we know it'.

there is a very good chance this will NOT however, mean the total extinction of our species, or even that the majority of the knowledge of existing tecnologies and how to create them, will neccessarity be lost.

as i've said many times before, i would love to be living in the world there will likely be AFTER all this has taken place, though it is a roll of the dice whether or not i would live THROUGH it, even if i were a lot younger then i am now.

then again there doesn't have to be any big woopie about it at all. human firtility could just be lowered and human population levels return to sane ones through relatively painless attrition.

but yes the world of petrolium will end and with it the world of the automobile is likely to. the world of mass media and super power politics could end too. and will when and if the day comes when there arn't enough of us to support it or who can be brainwashed into doing so.
