Is Tabby Star a Dyson Sphere? And What If It Is?

    Interesting story a few years back. Tabby's Star may be an advanced alien megastructure, namely a so-called 'Dyson sphere'. Here's an article on it. Scientists (generally a skeptical bunch) have proposed other explanations. But Dyson spheres can never be ruled out.

    So could this be proof of advanced ET's? And my question: Could it also be proof of advanced alien no interference? Cause they must know that we are aware of them. So why don't they contact us? As many of you may know, I believe in the Zoo Hypothesis. That aliens are aware of us, but choose not to interfere (directly at least).

    So Tabby Star is most likely not a Dyson Sphere.

    The Dyson Sphere is a fascinating concept tho, the notion that a civilization could harness and control all the energy of a star is mindblowing.

    But using a star for getting rid of all our nuclear waste is also a fascinating possibility :sunglasses:
