Is Slut Shaming A Form Of Anti-Feminism?

There is no such thing as sluts.

I understand that. But, there is a possibly that the girl... OR GUY (Let's not be bias here) simply wants to take part in activities that are defined as slutty. Also, sometimes the person who is "trying to help" sucks at helping because they think it helps to call the person a slut, and say other degrading things about them. There seems to be a line between helping someone and shaming them, and it seems like people don't know that line, and when they crossed it.

Helping is great. I think of it like this, if you don't know how to properly help, then don't do it. If they didn't ask, then don't do it. If you don't know the person personally, then don't do it. Usually people who don't know someone personally are the ones that are "trying to help". And it's usually those people who start a shitload of assumptions, like a naturally skinny girl has an eating disorder, etc. Somwtimes it is true. I don't doubt that. But, it's not your place to "help".

 

I don't really keep up on the lives of celebrities but It's my understanding that Taylor Swift has been with a bunch of dudes, so maybe she's a hypocrite too.

 

i can't define for someone else what is in their own eye as a beholder. we're talking about a label that has been applied to a part of logic, that we don't need to be chopping up into little pieces.

 

Isn't posting nudes a little different than dating a lot? Granted, I don't know what TS did during these dates. So.

Women always talk about the double standard for sex. If a man gets lot of it he's a stud and awsome. If a women does she's a slut. Well that's because one actuly requires skill. A man has to charm and woo to have sex. A women need only be there and at least a 6 out of 10. I think this is where the "slut shaming" comes in. Personally how ever much sex one wants to have is their business. Feminism to me is a women doing whatever she wants be that a house wife or CEO.

But I noticed other women resent the women who has easy sex because it drives down the market. I mean why worry about one cow when the other gives milk for free? In general it's usualy other women who judge what feminism is most harshly. We men really do not care and will support whatever our partner does because we support them.

 

I personally don't think men have to try hard to get sex. In general, no one has to try hard to get sex. It's literally always around the corner, for both men and woman. It's relationships that you have to work at.

My ex used to call me a whore, and he was the one cheating on me with different people. So, several times... I called him a whore. And he had the nerve to tell me that he isn't a whore because whores are only women. I personally think whores... and sluts can be both men and women. But, really... no one should be calling anyone a whore... or a slut. I just called him a whore because he was calling me one. I know, I'm so mature. It's unbelievable.

 

I think it's only considered art when an artist takes the photo. If you're a woman taking nudes of yourself and posting them online, you end up being just a woman taking nudes of yourself and posting them online. Same goes for men.

 

Yeah men can be whores too. I suppose I am not thinking of men more charismatic than me who got sex much easier. And since they can have sex without the emotions of many women you could say they are even more "whorey"

 

So we can't judge sluts, or whores, whatever...because it's totally oool that they are judging everyone else? Or are we supposed to believe that while they're having sex with these boys they're busy wondering whether or not they remembered to pack little Susie's lunchbox?

 

No kidding, like we don't think about having sex with women every 10 minutes out of our working day

So now I'm confused.
