Hell is actually in Canada, which is why none of you should have sex and remain virgins. They tell you if you go to hell you burn for eternity in the fires of purgatory, as thats less scarier than the truth. When really you get sent to Ontario and spend eternity talking about trees and snow and the benefits of universal healthcare
In regards to sex, China seems more like hell. At least in Canada you don't have to suffer any out of the ordinary consequences if you happen to get more than one kid
I have been to Ontario (hell) and lived there awhile, must be some system that let's you out for good behavior or something cause I got out. Now I am in the best place in Canada and it's like heaven so. Ya! There is heaven after hell! Whooohoooo
Silk, my understanding is that God loves you even if you DON'T love him, or even believe in him for that matter! That's what makes it UNCONDITIONAL. (It feels more than a little surreal writing this, considering that I'm an agnostic.)
I heard a TV Evangelist say that "Sex is God's gift to married people". What he didn't explain is why everyone seems to have brightly wrapped gifts under their Christmas tree, even if they are not married. Also, sexuality is a human quality that rears its ugly head long before a person is mature enough to get married. How should he handle it then? I am willing to bet there is not a TV Evangelist anywhere that did not masturbate when he was young while fantasizing about the girls he would like to fuck!
What is wrong with masturbating and fantasizing? And is it wrong if he (the tv evangelist) would refuse answering you if he was asked that?
I've known a lot of Christians in my life and have never known any who thought that. (not that they don't exist but I guess I just haven't known those types of Christians...crazy ones...)- neways, the question is too silly for me to answer.
Sex is immoral and dirty. Especially non-monogamous sex. You should all hack your genitalia off with a dull blade immediately.
I had one Catholic friend who told me it is said that he should not look at his wife as a sexual being but as the mother of his family and his wife. She was pretty hot and he admitted that saw her for all things she is, including Hot. I think the only way for a man or woman to look at their spouse in a non sexual way is to marry someone you are not attracted to in any way. Why would you do that unless you only want babies?
The Catholic Church was teaching a misinterpretation of scripture. In fact it says the opposite in scripture regarding sex within marriages.
Yeah most of those types of "religious" people don't know the answers you were seeing. But more specific answers to those questions do exist. They just aren't taught well to the masses.
Thats what I find about most religions, misinterpretations of some sort being taught,,, it really depends on the one reading into it and how he tells his followers they should believe and behave. Some religions say it's ok to beat your wife,,, Some say sex is wrong, some say this and that and I think it's best to read the big book and take what you get from it. What I get is be good to your fellow man, and woman, do good unto others. That's really what it's all about, not what you should do in your home to your wife and kids. I see a lot of Christian hits on Google about how and at what age to beat your kids, I cant believe that's still a question. If parents did what's needed they wouldn't have to beat them... Of course grounding them to their room with their IPod, stereo and TV isn't gonna get any results and that's why some kids fail to grow responsibly. Parents let it go or they beat them. I had no iPod, I went to my room to think about what I did, not to play, I cleaned a car I wrote on, I paid with pure boredom, sometimes for days, except for school and meals to understand what I did wrong. No one had to beat me and I came out ok, not on drug prescriptions to cope and damages later that others in my community had to put up with.
I've always wondered why religion has to be so complicated. Wouldn't it be enough if everyone just obeyed the Golden Rule?
I think so but it's about having people follow, making them think there is a better reason for living. Someone makes it as they see fit and then convinces others to understand it that way. If everyone was taught to be an individual and act accordingly there would be no need to follow any certain made up set of rules,,, it's kind of like a law system of it's own IMO. I don't like laws but I obey them,,, sure don't need to find another set of someones preferred laws to follow as well. Golden rule is easy,,, it's basically in the ten commandments,,,
I would rather be beat and then allowed to go outside rather than your having days of boredom. Yeah me and both my sisters somehow all turned out pretty good....better than my mom even.
