Does he just say that sex is wrong or does he go on to explain why? Generally, when I run into someone (usually religious) who makes similar claims about sex, sooner or later, it runs into a foundation of religious dogma. The conversation typically goes something like this: Them: "Sex is wrong." Me: "Why is it wrong?" Them: "It's a sin." Me: "What makes it a sin?" Them: "The bible says so." Me, (thinking, aha! he fell right into my trap!) "But, if the bible says sex is a sin, what about owning slaves, or eating shellfish, or any of the other hundreds of internal inconsistencies and contradictions it contains? And if you get to pick which ones are right and which ones are wrong, how do you know that your choices are correct?" And so on, and so on... OTOH, if they decide to go the "God gave us sex for procreation and nothing more" route, just tell them that you never got the memo. And, finally, if they just persist that "sex is wrong", but refuse to elaborate, offer to give them lessons (for a small fee.) I take particular delight in letting the air out of religious zealots.
And if it was just for procreation,,, we know some couples have a hard time getting pregnant,,, some try for years before their first, so what does this mean, they get to fuck like rabbits and those who conceive easily can only fuck till they get pregnant? What if they hit the number first time and they only want one kid? No more sex for them,,, this seems unfair,,, Maybe that's why people years ago went for 14 kids,,, I woulda went for 40 at least, oh wait, they went for 14 to build on their farm help crew,,, right,,, Oh man this is confusing.
