Is Romantic Love Dead?

I think it does.
My grandparents are still together, and are very much in love with each other.

 

yeah, it stretches it a lil.

 

As I stated earlier my parents stayed together. Times are different now.

 

My parents stayed together until my mom died, but when I was a teen I used to pray they'd divorce.

 

Why?

 

I will not say no, I"m sure there are still people out there, but for the most part I don't think people realize the importance of it... it's all sex, sex, sex and one night stands.

I thrive on love, without it I fall apart.

i think romantic love definitely does exist still, but it takes alot of guts to go for it despite the cynicism of our present world. maybe it would help if you quit flipping the bird at everyone? how about a nice romantic sig pic? maybe one with a rose in your teeth.

Romanticism is make believe, people who believe in "romance " are doom to fail..

real "love" is more then ponies and rainbows and butterflies that you feel in your little tummy...

Having a deep connection/bond that you have with your partner, an understanding of one another, one that you can poop in front of, that will tell you you have a booger hanging out of your nose before you go out in public, tells you your breath is pretty rank and to eat a mint, or one who tells you you have a muffin top in the pants you are wearing and you agree and are grateful that they told you so you wouldn't look like a tool.. Someone who you can share anything with and they won't judge you.. Someone who you know will be there always for you, someone who laughs at your lame jokes because they appreciate them... And there is more, but that is real love and kicks "romance" in the ass....
