    lol, good one.

EDIT- You know Black3n3d though, he's always off saving the world, and then comes back at irregular hours to retell his exploits.

for Black3n3d though, now could be an eternity :D

If I gave you all the answers/knowledge, that would mean you'd be under control.

Somethings have to remain hushhush in order for free-will to exist.

I couldn't tell you who I am let alone who anyone else is. haha

Truth is always individual at the human level.

If you want more, you have to climb away from that human identity. Jesus would say you have to sell all that you own and follow him.

The stream you grew up in eventually opens up to the ocean, but unless you're willing to explore, you will never know this for sure.

Wait a minute, how can knowing change your free will? Saying that knowing the answers would remove your free will is the same as saying that free will is an illusion caused by not knowing the answers... so in effect, knowing the answers wouldn't change the outcome at all, because you're already assuming knowing the answers would force you to realize that there is no free will.

If God told you EVERYTHING, you would be under his control for the safety of the rest of the Universes/life. That's why.

    Knowledge is truly power.

Knowledge is wealth you can't take with you, because where you need to go, the mind has no place.

People who worship power do so as an attachment to who they are. It becomes part of the wardrobe they dress in to be seen in. They need followers in order to cultivate power. Not much point when you're by yourself.

When you enter the Kingdom, you are truly by yourself. But when you realize the majesty of what you are in reality, the idea of your human self has no value other than communicating with other humans.

It becomes a sock puppet to entertain the easily amused.:)

I've recently tilted the political forum with this sock puppet.

He's currently at large and was last seen in plain sight.

If knowledge can't be taken with you, I would not know what I know.

Knowledge is not just stored in the mind, xexon.

There are different kinds of knowledge... intellectual knowledge and a deeper awareness that's beyond intellectual understanding.

The idea is to have no attachment to knowledge.

As a pure soul of conscious energy, there isn't any place to store knowledge. No brain or mind in the sense we understand.

A pure soul can utilize knowledge, and let it go. It blows through them like wind through a flute. The flute has no need of keeping it.

A person in search of knowledge, does so by personal desire. A desire to find what it feels is missing from it's self image. If you identify with this image, it will accept whatever decoration you want to hang on it. But you can never satisfy it.

In being free of personal desire is to be free of any restraints caused by it's usage.

If you identify with the absolute, you become that.

I don't quite understand where your coming from xexon.

Knowledge is much more grand than fitting inside just the mind.

There's no such thing as knowledge that is not knowledge of the self.

It's all you. You're working on the personal self right now. The divine self requires nothing from the personal self. It doesn't have to learn anything because it's all in plain sight.

The personal self has a limited ability to see anything and must be educated to overcome it's disability. The personal self will always struggle to know what it is. The five senses will not reveal the truth.

It takes to ability to make the personal self sit quietly.

Only when it's silent, does the veil between the two selves begin to drop.

    You're playing peek-a-boo with God.

If you do it correctly, you won't be able to see any difference between creator and created.

It strikes me that the idea of a personal self is just an illusion. I have this awareness that the one I always thought of as the personal "me" is just a character in a story. Does this personal character need to be educated? Well I can't answer that for sure, really. But the perspective that I see is that the only "education" that's going on is recognizing the difference between my true self and this fictional character.

And the peek-a-boo (that's funny) that's going on... that feels to me more like tuned in/tuned out... or awake/asleep. And when I'm tuned in and awake, the personal self isn't sitting quietly really... it's no longer in my scope of awareness at all. It's like in that moment it's not even there because what I'm aware of is just mySelf... or rather there's just awareness. I can't really make the personal self step aside. It's more like... as the awareness arises and gains in strength the ability to be present is just there. Like when someone cuts me off in traffic... the ability to offer up no resistance (anger, frustration, impatience) is there.

Anyway, that's been my experience. I know there are many ways of describing this... many perspectives of the same thing.

When inner vision first begins to open, that eye blinks quite a bit as it adjusts to what it sees. It's learning to focus. You're going to go in and out of higher consciousness as it does. It becomes more stable and more influentual with time.

The brain also has to adjust to a new kind of input. This isn't possible until you've made the ego realize it can't do it all by itself. It then creates room next to itself in the driver's seat for the higher self to sit. Willingly.

As the ego is more and more impressed by what it sees from the higher self, it will eventually sit in the backseat and turn over all the controls to the higher self. The ego is a willing servant in this new deal. It is used as a mouthpiece to the outside world. The human face behind the divine idea.

Every human is a plaything. Every higher self is the one who plays with it. And the singular consciousness behind it all, sits and watches.

In the same way a parent watches their children play with their dolls.

although I am not very experienced with this, and the first part about the eye blinking and tuning in and out of higher consciousness I agree with fully, I can't say that I agree with the parts in bold.

In my experience, my ego has fought me every step of the way, in the forms of severe anxiety, doubt, and fear. It got so bad that I just gave up for the time being and gave control back to it. I really didn't know what else to do.
