I definitely get it. Some of my favorite posters here have been my favorites since their posts were in the double digits. Post count really doesn't mean shit, even though I'm rather proud of mine.
There are old timers here who completely run these forums and still haven't learned how to ignore trolling, have absolutely zero sense of humor, and are overinvolved. My answer being, "Fuck all y'all and alll power to the n00bs!"
I'll listen to anyone that makes any sense regardless of their post count. It's all down to personalities and the ability to take what is said as it meant. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
I'm considering starting a noob protection society. Any lawyers, ex-army officers and counselors want to volunteer? We're also going to need a place to base our noob training facility.
Tsk tsk tsk. The internet would be 7% less entertaining without n00bs. Hell, not a single Youtube video will have user comments.
But what about noobs that fight back? Trolling would be a whole new ball game. It would take the benchmark to unprecedented levels!
People who find themselves short of redeeming qualities may indeed resort to name calling, as a means to preclude the possibility of their own unveiling. Drawing attention to another's alleged weakness merely distracts from the more serious issue of one's own. This is why I use big words. I wouldn't want anyone to know that I'm a serial dumbshit. And knowing now that I am willing to disclose that fact, in all humility, one might suspect there are other, even more serious failings lying close beneath the surface. Mwoohahahaha,, Weakness is a strength. The first shall be last. Blah, blah blah blah,,
I simply have to reply to my own post, as it is a relatively important one, in the scheme of things (I love using rhetorical cliches. They tend to be useful for "fill") Weakness is commonly used in strategic battle lore, in that leaving an opening can often seduce your opponent into a vulnerable position. One needs to assess as to whether or not the weakness reflects a valid opportunity, or a trap. Look before you leap, peep.
Weakness isn't strength. This quote proves it: "Heavy metal, or no metal at all. Wimps and posers, leave the hall."
I don't think he meant it literally. Feigning weakness can be a strength, if you want to get all precious and shit.
I don't know if he meant it literally, I didn't give it too much thought. I just try to quote Manowar as much as I can.
They wanna keep us down, but they can't last. When we get up we're gonna kick your ass. Gonna keep on burnin', we always will. Other bands play...Manowar kills!
