if you cant go for a week without eating a type of food then your fuckin obese

When a user is addicted to heroin perhaps, they may WANT to quit, but there are physical pains and even dangers of withdrawal off heroin.

when a user is addicted to weed, they may be physically able to quit, but they simply wont because they dont want to.

weed IS ADDICTIVE. you people are naive and just as ignorant as the kids who believe DARE. It doesnt matter if its physical or mental, its still an addiction. However, it only happens to people who like smoking. if you dont like smoking, you will NOT get addicted, unlike cigarettes, where you can get addicted simply by being pressured into smoking all day or at social functions.

withdrawal from weed when addicted however, is purely psychological. if you think suicidal thoughts, then it is you being a 'pussy', quite frankly. its not the drugs fault, its your fault for getting to attatched to weed. see when you quit, your mind stops getting a lot of the thigns that make is happy : interest, pleasure, entertainment. your mind jsut doesnt really get these thigns. so your left feeling plain, not down, and then your mind gets sad because it doesnt like the plainess. If you have a strong will, its easy to abstain from marijuana. most can. I cant. many in this thread probably cant too.

most withdrawal symptoms however go away when yopur mind gets attuned to the reality - that life really is dull, compared to stoned life at least, and so it gets back to normal, and in fact many people jsut forget about weed after they quit for a while, and then they start actualyl feeling better, and feel like they dont need or want weed after that.

often, insomnia is enough to make anyone fail an attempt to quit weed.

see, the problem of most withdrawals is that the user tries to recreate somehow their previous feelings of passion and such, and, especially (maybe primarily) with teenagers, this just leads to angst, for it is the easiest form of passion one can muster.

however, there is one sure way to get over a weed addiction. It always works. Ive never known it to not work. Somehow, you need to be denied weed. whether its by not getting enough money together, dealer going to jail, these thigns work. if you really wanted to quit, youd have to jsut start spending your money or putting it in a bank account that you cant withdraw for. that has double benefit. IF you find yourself stealing from peoples houses to get money for weed then you are just retarded and should be depressed because your a fuckhead. but most people dont get that sort of feeling like crack users do.

A physical addict NEEDS his drug, and get sick and feel pain when they cant
a psychological addict WANTS his drug so much that he just wants to do it all the time, and then gets frustrated when they cant

but whats the problem with a weed addiction anyway? hehe weeds awesome

    ;)

i hope your not making out that addictive personalities are retarded. it has nothing to do with anything except how much you are interested in certain things. its not even a case of rationality or irrationality.
