Are people still talking about those scientists? Wow. Lack of critical thinking skills maybe? If we find out that 30,000 less people died at the Treblinka death camp than we previous though cause someone tried fudging the numbers on their one project does it somehow refute the other thousands of historians that have hard evidence of the fact the holocaust in general existed in terms as bad as we thought?

Most climate scientists agree on man made global warming, and I think I've come to terms with what it entails. The resources are depleting while the population grows exponentially along with pollutants. I don't hate humans and truly wish exponential growth could keep going and be perfectly sustainable millions of years into the future. Its just not the case though. The planet really can't cope with modern, human activities anymore, and humanity, as a whole, just isn't cooperative enough to freely change its own behavior as whole, nor recognize its best interests. Its too obsessed with religious and ideological bickering, as well as mass consumption, to see the forest for the trees.

Climate scientists are in a general consensus about it, and they know that the structure of greenhouse gasses, traps in infrared radiation. This is pretty much the result of adding CO2 into the atmosphere from fossil fuels that have been sequestered int he earths crust for millions of years. Were cutting out own life support systems under our own feat, and the human population is going to hit a mass extinction, due from the unsustainability of its own behavior on the planet. The truth is humanity has always done things contrary to its own general progress. If humanity could alter its own behavior for the better, war would have stopped happening a long time ago. I think the dramatic melting of the ice caps lends a lot of credibility to global warming, but I believe humanity is doomed. There's really no future for it. It was a fun ride in a lot of ways, but I think this is all gonna end pretty soon. We'll probably nuke ourselves out of existence fighting over dwindling resources. I still reserve some hope but not much. All the genocides and human subjugation over the centuries is a pretty consistent trend. Because of that, I'm almost certain that humanity is surely fucked. Even if global warming isn't real, we're still dramatically destroying the planet's eco-systems and killing off our own means of existence.

Maybe the planet can get along without us if we don't nuke it too bad on our way too our demise. I doubt sentience will develop again from the remaining bacteria. It'll be a shame without us being here, I know, but that looks like how its gonna pan out to me. I'll do my part though. I'm not a total pessimist.

 

I think the biggest danger for humans is the modern life style with too much consuming, too much sitting down, too many chemicals, too much energy consumed and too much mental pollution from mass media.
The biggest enemies are probably chemical industry, nuclear industry, food industry, pharma industry, banksters, modern agriculture, politicians and mass media.
Then on a spiritual level its dark energy (a lot in music) up to satanic rituals by the richest people.
Global warming, however, is a hoax and the data are manipulated.

Real or not, it's a well needed wake up call for people to start looking after and respecting our Earth and resources.

 

Europe is going to become an icecicle because some people actually still don't believe in global warming. Look at Europe on a map, western Europe is at a high latitude but is kept warm by the gulf stream, as the polar ice melts and cold water comes down on the Labrador current it's going to interfere with the warm waters of the gulf stream from reaching Europe.

 

The awesome irony is when scientists started using the term climate change instead to showcase the fact not all parts of the Earth would necessarily get warmer, this was supposedly another example of scientists trying to fudge their work and that global warming was a hoax

I do not beleive that mankind is causing global warming. Hell I remember just a few years back when it was mankind was somehow causing global cooling and people were thinking the next ice age was gonna come soon.

Listen, mankind cannot control the weather, but mankind can affect the environment, which in turn can affect the weather. Look at the massive over-grazing of the Sahara region. Building cities, that alters the local isotherms, thus affecting the regional weather systems. Altering the aquifers alters the surface water supplies, thus affecting the weather. The pollutants, the litter, the disregard that mankind is here to take care of the Earth and not destroy it.

But we're not to blame for global warming. Or global cooling. We are responsible for the global bullshit, and the biggest pile of bullshit is called the "carbon footprint". No one ever thinks of the volcanic activity, do they? Mt. Pinatubo can, in one eruption, beat every living being's carbon foot print for a year a billion fold. All that effort, wasted over an undocumented and unprovable lie.

 

Yet somehow you don't correlate the carbon effects of a massive volcanic event such as Mt Tamora which helped cause the "year without a summer" in 1816 to the continued near 200 year constant release of carbon by human activity? I mean do you realize how much we pump into the atmosphere every year? Here's a graph from the Icelandic eruption earlier in the year to help make the point. This is just planes, just planes flying over Europe.

 

I'm not unconvinced that there's man made global warming but I am 100% convinced that the scam artists that are the government/corporate establishment now would conjure up a scheme that would cost everybody dearly and wouldn't actually mitigate any man made global warming. However, I expect it would accomplish exactly what it was designed to do- take money out of our pockets... and it would be corporate officer salaries and political campaign war chests that would get the most green.
