It depends on the kiss. Of course you can kiss someone and not have the slightest sexual intent! But the other side is very different. An intense open-mouth kiss is as intimate as coitus, but I also feel kissing of that nature is a form of foreplay. It may not lead to sex, but that depends on the relationship. And I could no more have sex with someone I couldn't kiss than I could flap my arms and fly to the moon.
it is sexual.. but a lot of younger girls go around kissing guys just to give themselves a confidence boost. also i think some guys expect that if you get one thing you're getting something else whereas the girls thinking the kiss will end at a kiss.
