Is it uncool to believe in God?

It is getting to the point where people are starting to wake up and realize god is a figment of their imaginations.

Someday the belief in god will be considered a sign of mental illness.

Many ex-Christians have told me what their belief in hell did to them as youngsters. Horrible.

Yeah, like Sartre, uncool, but the God was for the anticipation of contingency in some dull weather report, He was for the revolt of the masses, and last but not least, God was the enemy of people not loving the science from the conformist point of view.:devil:

 

Both the Gods and all governments are an insult to mankind after all these years. Having them says that we have not trained ourselves to use our own internal consciences and have to be told how to act. We are telling ourselves we are stupid and need baby sitters daily.

Honestly this just seems to be turning into another pointless religious debate. God really honestly doesn't need to be cool or hip or whatever. If there were a God I doubt He'd give a damn what others think of Him.

 

In my earlier writings, I declared that Government and religion were actually very crude methods of crowd-control. I still hold that opinion, which is my own personal declaration of independence.

 

No argument. If religions spent on the poor instead of themselves as Jesus taught, we would not have any problems.

it is by no means uncool or un anything else, to believe in the possible existence of one or more gods. what is unreasonable to believe, is that whatever god or gods may happen to exist, owe a damd thing to what anyone thinks they know about it.
