We love dreads but hate each other

 

because of your dreads... what a vicious circle..

like im a black panther.. but i am white.. so its like a never ending battle.. you know how many bathroom mirrors i've broked "kill whitey!" *crash* "oh shit that was just my reflection"

 

This is just ridiculous. What is the point of posting this on a forum filled with dreadheads? You obviously have no other intention other than insulting people here, because what other point are you trying to make? If you think we're all a bunch of vain, stuck-up posers, then why exactly are you here? What do you want from us, from this forum?

I do not think you are an idiot, and therefore I will assume you are just being dense on purpose. How exactly do those with dreads put themselves on a pedestal? Why are you jumping to these conclusions? Some dreadies do, but yet again, so do some bald guys. And some girls with pixie cuts. And punks with mohawks. Dreads are just a hairstyle, it's not some sort of biological factor. People with dreads have their hair in common, and trying to sort it into anything else is completely futile. You just can't.

 

I agree but only because I feel bad for you because you don't know how much better and spiritually fulfilling life is when you have dreadlocks.

 

I know what you mean. It drives me bonkers too!!!! The Co op by my house is run by dreadies with such attitudes. They dont ever smile or make eye contact with people unless its another dready with mature and long dreads. Its weird to watch. It bugged me so much I dont even shop there anymore..when Im in the mood for a co op experience I have to drive 45 minutes to sacramento which is a downer cuz Sac is by far the lamest city and I hate the govenator. rawr. but damn I love a good falafel sandwich and fresh carrot apple juice...oh and their goji berry smoothies....drooool. OMG that makes me sound like a fat cow. moooooo bitches.

Well I am glad this forum is here (well most of the time) Being that I am in a area where I just cant walk down the street and find another dreadie to get info from....this place has given me alot of advice...and a few good laughs as well.

 

why does it bother you that dreadlocks have a forum? its like a community on its own here anyway, most people dont even post anywhere else much, including me, only come here. no, we do not think we are special or something? and no, dreadlocks arent just a hairstyle like a "beehive" either. the process of dreading lasts years and years and never stops. thus i believe they do deserve a subforum more than a forum with a hundred "so i shaved the back of my head, yay" "yay! good for you" "congrats, make sure you dont let it grow out" "oh good tip! thanks"

doesn't have to be a bald forum.. that would sound like a forum that asks questions of whether or not you should use Rogain.. but i think there should totally be a shaved head forum... mostly so i can start a chicks with shaved heads thread.. *drools*
