    Better yet, Washington State is enacting reasonable gun laws…The founding Fathers (and Mothers!) never envisioned the insanity of a self serving NRA run amok. No one can say they are safer with the tsunami of guns; tho a few can say they are wealthier.

    14 students, 1 teacher dead after shooting at elementary school

    Fourteen students and a teacher are dead after a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, according to Gov. Greg Abbott.

    The 18-year-old suspect, a student at Uvalde High School, is also dead, he said.

    "He shot and killed horrifically and incomprehensibly 14 students and killed a teacher," Abbott said during an unrelated press briefing.

    The suspect also allegedly shot his grandmother before entering the school and again opening fire, Abbott said. He did not say anything further about her condition.

    Abbott said the shooter had a handgun and also possibly a rifle.

    Damn, time to arm those elementary kids. What's with this no guns in school shit anyway? If those kids had been armed (and properly trained) they would have taken this guy out before you could say "Big Bird".

    More guns, we need more guns!!!!!

    If history is any indication there will be a rush to buy more guns over the upcoming weeks.

    I wonder if Alex Jones will be smart enough this time to keep his mouth shut, and grieve along with the rest of the nation over such innocence lost.

    The FBI defines an active shooter as one or more individuals actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area. Implicit in this definition is the shooter’s use of a firearm. The active aspect of the definition inherently implies the ongoing nature of an incident, and thus the potential for the response to affect the outcome, whereas a mass killing is defined as three or more killings in a single incident.
