I will vote to get a law passed by Congress which would remove guns from any person who thinks the 2020 election was stolen from the jackass of Mar A Lago.

Post #746, "The best way to fix the problem with America is for all of you that hate America is for you move to the country of your choice."
Post #750, "The best way to fix the problem with America is for all of you that “dislike” America is for you move to the country of your choice."
Post # 765, "That would be for them to decide." In response to Scratcho's question, "And who exactly determines who those are that "dislike" America and should move to another country?"

Maybe you're too young to know about the phrase, "Love it or Leave it."
It was a rallying cry by those who didn't like anyone who had a different opinion then theirs during the Vietnam era with the likes of Ernest Tubb singing, "“Well, I’m getting mighty tired of seeing hippies run wild and burning down the schools and stepping on the flag,“It’s America—love it or leave it.
Merle Haggard sang, “If you don’t love it, leave it.”

You post the same sentiment with, "The best way to fix the problem with America is for all of you that hate America is for you move to the country of your choice." Of course you try to evade the implication that you think anyone who doesn't agree with you should leave the country...as only a true patriot will agree with you. All others don't really love America, you don't say they don't love America of course, you say they hate it, or dislke it! Big difference!!

If you choose not to answer, I understand.
If you answer honestly you would have to admit that you support the violent overthrow of the government, and believe those that stormed the Capitol should have shot and killed police officers, CIA officers, Congressmen and women, the vice president, and so on.
Further you won't comment on whether you would join them in the massacre of government officials and the coup d'état as it would make you libel to "18 U.S. Code § 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government".
In short you talk big but are afraid to stand up for your convictions.

During the Viet Nam era, cops in Indiana used to stop young guys with long hair on the streets, then beat them, then take them down to the selective service (DRAFT) board.

Pro gun nuts think they need semiautomatic assault weapons for hunting, target practice, and defense.
They don't. That's a cover for their desire to shoot people, preferably the "Feds."

I have two target guns. One is a single shot .22LR pistol. The other is a .22LR pump gallery gun with octagon barrel. They work just fine for shooting targets.
Shotguns work well for home defense and hunting as do bolt or lever action rifles.

That Ruger has a piss poor barrel which melts after rapid fire on the range. I melted one in less that a half hour. It was in four different colors when I gave up. I wouldn't give spit for the AR-15 knock off. That last one looks like a Chinese NORINCO copy of a Kalashnikov, which is a good one; however, I don't think these right wing nut jobs should be allowed to have one.

The problem is that horse had done left the barn a loooong time ago. There's so many weapons in the general population there's no longer any control. The only thing we can dream of barely controlling is the legal acquisition by people that shouldn't have them. The sheer number of guns and ghost guns on the streets makes it nearly impossible to keep them out of the wrong hands by those who have little interest in obtaining them legally. But, obviously, these guys are all part of that well regulated militia the 2nd amendment mentions. More guns are selling today than ever before - before the anticipated 'gun grab'...some people you just can't reach....they have a failure to communicate.....

At the present moment, no guns.
I do own a few antiques, target, etc. but they are all in storage.
Guns are a pain in the ass. Every time you fire one you have to clean it.
Waste of time. I could be reading a book, drawing a picture, or mowing the lawn.

When I go to the Cat House in Nevada I just take an armor plated condom with me, not a gun.

The last two words say it all......it’s all about carnage and violence. Too bad for the innocent bystanders and uninvolved.
