Wasn't the Waco siege a result of a religious cult shooting and killing 4 ATF agents when they attempted to conduct a search and arrest order because of suspicion of illegal weapons? or did I miss something.

I editted the post, there is not strong evidence of who started the arson there and I didn't want to derail the thread debating who did what.

Is the title of this thread disingenuous? After all talking about guns could mean many things such as , What's the best deer rifle or what do you like for skeet shooting.
In reality this thread is about gun laws/gun control which we already have here as does pretty much everywhere in varying degrees of effectiveness.
So with the above being said its actually about MORE laws and MORE control.
Does more law equal less freedom?
    Does Prohibition work?

The first known mass shooting in the U.S. where students were shot, was on April 9, 1891, when 70 year old, James Foster fired a shotgun at a group of students.

This stuff has a much longer history then most realize

Im guessing its a pretty safe assumption that keeping guns out of the hands of people who would do such acts is desirable. Achieving such while simple in principle becomes much harder in practical application

is that going to prevent this

Most are ( I think ) looking to outlaw military type weaponry ( ak and semi auto type ) which point being is NOT a panacea

Wrat we have been through all that before – again why bring up arguments you couldn’t defend the last few times you tried them?

Once again you just come across as been deeply dishonest

I mean why you know the arguments are going to fail because they failed every other time so why try them again – I know you have no better defence – so why – is it just to pretend – or to stretch things out - or what?

Why - it has been done in other places

And for the umpteenth time a knife or an axe is not the same as a much more lethal firearm.

You think me saying 9/11 being an inside job is dishonest?

Here is what the world has to say about your forum

What boulder have you been living under if you think 9/11 wasnt an inside job?

You know for a forum of hippies they seem strangely trusting of government.

Why is it that trump is the first president to celebrate pride, yet gets blamed for covid.

Meanwhile george w bush is anti-gay marriage but somehow saying "bush did 9/11" is taboo? Its almost like the media caused people to hate trump more than bush.
Trump praised as 'pro-gay marriage' by loyal appointee

Somehow i think if i provided evidence of 9/11 inside job it would form a long debate and then you'd blame me for derailing thread. So I'm not going to discuss it in this thread.

Who decides when the government has completely defiled human rights?
What in the world are you talking about in regards to nanobots? Is this from some sci fi book you read?

    Nanobots exist. So what?
The 9/11 conspiracy theory that our government flew its own airplanes into its own real estate has been debunked so many times it isn't funny.
Who in the world ever said you should blindly trust anyone...especially that weird neighbor some of us have that flies Trump flags and hoards semiautomatic weapons and ammunition and talks about shooting government officials who are going to plant nanobots in their arm and turn them into zombies??

    Idk, everyone?

I thought a lot of people here talk about human rights, and now all of a sudden during this discussion you suddenly act like human rights violations can no longer be defined?
