    Well now,

Yes, Republicans will view gun crime, as a Crime Isue....... No supprise here.

If we together as citizens want to curb gun crime we can act together in Congress to pass laws to reduce gun crime. Plenty of Rebublicians will vote for a Bi-Partisan measure, if Bi-partisanship is still available in this day and age.

Murder rates are an average of 40% higher in the states Donald Trump won in 2020 than in the ones he lost, according to a study published this year by the centrist think tank Third Way. The researchers found that eight of the 10 states with the highest murder rates went to Trump in the last presidential election."

This may be true. People who follow the news are aware that murder rates are driven by big city murders.

BUT…T——— didn’t win the urban states like New York, California, Illinois, and Michigan, he won the rural Great Plains States, the Southern States, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kentucky etc. Big contradiction..So much for that theory.

He won the rural states--the ones with the most guns, and therefore the most murders.

Just heard on the news, that, just this weekend alone, there have been over TWENTY shootings and stabbings in New York City.

Three of these attacks were fatal, sadly.

And yet the Mayor claims that the city is becoming "safer", and they are winning the battle against gun violence?!?!

    Really?!?!?

    What planet is he on?!?!

Get a grip on reality, my friend.....

I don’t think any number of kids getting murdered in schools will get some people over their weird gun fetish

Sad to say, guns HAVE indeed become a FETISH to many gun-advocates.

It is frightening, to say the least, when one cannot help but wonder if their next-door neighbor has an arsenal in his basement with enough guns and ammo to stock an armory.

These days, getting a gun as almost as easy as going to the store to buy a newspaper or a candy bar........:(

We’re at the point in America where we think books are dangerous but not guns

The rampant book-banning in this country (including some Dr. Suess books, believe it or not) is hauntingly reminiscent of the book-burnings during the reign of the vile Nazis.

Whatever happened to "freedom of choice" and "freedom of the press"?

Sadly, as each day draws to a close, we have lost yet another tangible element of the many freedoms we once took for granted.....

Never has a book banning been on the right side of history. Ironically I bet a lot of book banners believe that banning doesn’t work when applied to guns

Just learned that 12 were injured in a Louisiana nightclub mass shooting.

    Thankfully, no fatalities.....yet.

Two 19-year olds are now in custody.......God help us all......

American walks into a shop... "Can I have a Kinder chocolate egg please? Shopkeeper reepies "Oh, sorry, we don't sell those. They're too dangerous for public consumption". Guy replies "oh, ok then, I'll just buy a semi automatic rifle then.". Shopkeeper "No problem, do you want a packet of bullets in there with it too?".

    .........talk about sad but true.:(

So much flack today about what BOOKS might be HARMFUL to children......BUT........we STILL are so very lax when it comes to enacting STRICT gun laws.

Just last month, a SIX-YEAR OLD....yes...a SIX-YEAR OLD.....brought a gun to school and SHOT their TEACHER in Virginia.

TELL ME that this is NOT a SIGN that we, as a nation, have sunk to an all-time low.

    WHERE are CHILDREN getting GUNS??

    WHERE are their PARENTS??

And WHY is buying a GUN is now as "everyday" as doing your grocery shopping??

How many more INNOCENT PEOPLE must be slaughtered before SOMETHING is FINALLY done.......WHEN will the spineless, milquetoast politicians FINALLY get the BACKBONE to DO something??

We are no longer safe........ANYWHERE.........schools, shopping centers, neighborhood stores, sports events, concerts, public transportation, even houses of worship.

Sad, sickening, and so very TRAGIC........:(

......this is like saying that the Empire State Building has 102 stories.:(

We now reside in a hIGHLY VOLATILE "gun culture", where firearms can be found just about anywhere, nowadays.......where there are PEOPLE, there will also, sadly, be FIREARMS......these days, it's basically a given......:(
