Is it rude?

I think that if you are doing her a favor then she should be friendly in return. Having your head stuck in a personal device is a means of blocking out those around you and it is intentional.

If she was chatting with you along the way and using her phone a little, it would just seem more friendly.

If she's paying you to drive her then it's a business arrangement and being absorbed by her stuff would be acceptable.

Free ride or paid ride, you need to ask her not to play the music. Tell her it annoys you to the point of high anxiety and might cause you to wreck the car.

Whomever she is chatting with is more important than you are to her. If she wanted to interact with you,I'm assuming she would. What do you want her to do,aside from not playing shitty music? Conversation? Do you want her to sit in silence and look out at the traffic as you drive? If you want to 'GET' with her,hasn't she shown already,that wouldn't work by her actions? You mentioned that she was a friend,so friends can usually work shit out. Tell her like it is and let the chips------------

i'm assuming this is the jamaican chick. i remember he said she had bad taste in music before, and i think i also remember him saying that he was giving her rides.

I've been giving her the benefit of the doubt because, quite frankly, she isn't very bright. In fact, I have met a lot of Jamaicans, and none of them have had much going on in the grey matter department. They are very simple-minded people, I hate to say. To put it a little more bluntly, most of the ones I have met have been downright stupid. Now I don't want to paint all Jamaicans with a broad stroke brush, but this is what I have encountered anyway. At the same time, I take into account that they come from a third world country and most of them aren't very well educated. It's not their fault, so I have a little more tolerance for their stupidity than I would an American.

ANYHOW... this girl is actually OLDER than me... by about three years, in fact (she's 34). Yet you would never guess she is past her mid 20s. She has a very cute, innocent vibe about her. Also, I would say her mental age is closer to 14 than 34. So she comes across in person much younger than she is. I have seen other guys at work hitting on her, and I know they don't have a clue she's like 10 years older than them.

Anyhow, I would NEVER allow a person to play me like I have been allowing this chick to. No fucking way. I always call people out on their shit if I think they're not being straight with me. But yeah, pussy casts a spell on me which whittles me down to a pathetic little twit with no testicular fortitude. It's really quite sad.

It's funny, though, because as dumb as this broad is, she is still apparently bright enough to be manipulative. But I know she's being manipulative and I allow her to be. Some days she is really flirty and pays me a good deal of attention. For instance, the other day she sees a cop car and asks me if I have my seatbelt on, while reaching over (as if to see if I am wearing it) and putting her hand right on my package. (lol)

Sometimes when I smoke I get really paranoid and wonder if her stupidity is really an act of sheer genius.

Oh, and as far as the music goes... she listens to the crap that many black women with no taste listen to... shit like Rihanna, Beyonce, Monica, Mary J. Blige, etc. UGH!!!!! The only reggae she seems to like is that shitty, bombastic dancehall crap, which I also cannot stand.
