I don't think bad about Ireland at all! But I do think they put their old folks in retirement homes as well.

hi kite west cork is beautiful.were you there ? if so which part ? i like kinsale and skibereen. i was never in scotland or wales.scotland is beautiful looking to and wales.hope ta see them someday.i love the welsh accent.
my mother grew up in bantry (her mother was a relative of michael collins) & now my brother is back living there.. when we have our 'rock n roll' commune (as my sister calls it) up & running we'll throw out the invitations to come & visit.. we're very freespirited people, who want to do what we like til we fall off the perch.. the most distressing thing about old folks homes is being told 'tea time' 'now go to bed'.. even the best run ones are full of rules n regulations.. (hasn't this thread become warm n cosy?)
yes, her name was collins, but everyone in that area who shared his name claims to be his kinsman/woman..
hey, dont mean to troll to much. but ok yes, i live in the states,, the sunniest one of all florida the sunshine state. i think it'd be WAY too cold in any of your lands over in the uk area. sorry, i left the midwest of usa for a reason. cold sucks. only bad thing is we have tropical storms here, and hurricanes
Not really, because its dissolving under the almost constant rain. The landscape is 93% Midge infested Peat bog masked most of the time by thick Fog. Craggy Island, featured on 'Father Ted' is one of the more attractive spots. Of course the people of Ireland arnt like those featured on 'Father Ted', well not ALL of them !
